TVMA Trips for 2016 Season

From topwater smashes to nips and bumps dragging streamers and tubes across the bottom, playing the odds in muskie fishing requires matching the (predicted) mood with the correct tool for the job. 51.5, 51, 49, 48, were our winning numbers this week.

Knowing when to apply the right tool for the job obviously requires some understanding of muskie behavior and external influence to make that big, smart, inactive muskie to go “eh….ok, I’ll bite.” By stacking your cards you can condense the fish of 10,000 casts into 100, but you need to know the when, why, and how. Strategic planning, creative consumption, and proper application (presentation) is what we’re here to help you with.

It’s not about shiny paintjobs and brand names to us; it’s about getting the job done with the right tools. Mama-muskie isn’t woo’d by shiny new “hot” color patterns; she’s got her eye on the baitfish with missing scales, so take that bait out of the wall plaque and bang it off some rocks, she likes when baitfish do that too.

Take advantage of the collective knowledge a group of like-minded anglers have compiled here at the TVMA. Even if you don’t care about any of this stuff and just want to hold a big fish up for the camera, we get it! We cater to that too.

Also don’t forget to check out our multi-species tab on our website to see what else East TN has to offer. You can catch everything on our website within a 20 minute drive of any amenity one could ask for. Scattered on the outskirts of Knoxville are reservoirs home to the largest variety of trophy species anywhere in the country, it’s why we moved here!
